Dove Creek Equine Rescue is located West of Canyon, Texas. Their mission is to rehabilitate, retrain, and re-home horses that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered. DCER is a place where my family and I have donated a lot of our time to help the horses and rescue. Since we have been volunteering at DCER we have met a lot of people who share the same passion for horses that we do. We have learned a lot about working with abused and neglected horses. We have learned about horse behavior, and how to prepare some horses for adoption. I encourage everyone to check out their website, and consider getting involved to help the horses and rescue!
